  Day1: Morning leave for Kandy. Visit elephant orphanage at Pinnawela and a tea factory en route. Visit the golden roofed Dalada Maligawa, Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha, shop for handicrafts, Gems & jewellery. Many interesting old temples close by. Witness a Kandyan Dance performance by night. Overnight Kandy.

  Day 2: Early morning proceed to Nuwara Eliya through Ramboda Pass – Beautiful scenery, 6187 ft. above sea level – tea carpeted hills, Ramboda waterfall (329 ft), Hagala botanical gardens. Back to Colombo through Ginigathhena. May stop for lunch at Kitulgala, location of the famous film Bridge on the River Kwai. Now getting famous for whith-water rafting in the Kelani river with encounters of grade 2 & 3 rapids.
