    Kandy-Ancient Cities-Trincomalee- Jaffna-Kalpitiya-Negombo

    Day1: Morning – leave for Kandy visiting a tea estate & some water falls. Evening visit Dalada Maligawa, the golden roofed Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. And Cultural Show. Overnight in Kandy.

    Day2:Morning visit many interesting temples– Lankatilleke, Gadaladeniya, Embekke closeby and handicrafts, gem & jewellery shops. Also visit Botanical gardens. Overnight in Kandy.

    Day3: Morning leave for Sigiriya. visiting the 5thC. Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Visit Spice Garden en route. Overnight at Habarana

    Day4:Morning – leave for Anuradhapura, first capital of Sri Lanka dating back to 3rd C.BC – 8th C.AD. Visit ruins. The ‘Rajarata’ King’s country dotted with magnificent stupas and picturesque lakeswhich has irresistible charm to the visitor. Overnight Anuradhapura. Day5:Early Morning leave for Wilpattu National Park famous for leopard. Unique in its topography having several inland ‘villus’ (lakes) that attracts thousands of water birds. Bear and herds of deer and sambhur are common. Overnight at Anuradhapura.

    Day6:Morning leave for Polonnaruwa-Medieval capital. Beautiful evocative ruins in stone. The Gal Vihare (Rock temple) sculptures are the glory of Polonnaruwa & the peak of its artistic achievement.Overnight Polonnaruwa.

    Day7: Morning leave for Trincomalee famed for its natural habour. Picnic lunch. Overnight Trincomalee/Nilaveli.

    Day8: In Trincomalee at leisure. On the beach & sightseeing. Many interesting sights such as the Konneswaram Kovil, Kanniyai hot springs, and a deep blue sea! All water sports are available here including fishing, scuba diving, sea angling and exciting whale watching.

    Day9: Early morning leave for Jaffna-the magnetic north. Starkly beatifull. Delft Island famous for its wild ponies, Buddhist historical site ‘Kandarodei’ spread amidst palmyrah trees, Nallur Kandaswamy temple, Jafna’s premier place of worship Nagadipa, popular Buddhist shrine and of course the Casuarina beach named after the casuarinas trees along the coral strewn shore. The sea is very shallow and you must wade out some distance to swim. In Jaffna market you can buy the famous Jaffna mangoes, see wide variety of mats, baskets, hats and other items woven from Palmyrah leaves.

    Day10:Morning – leave for Kalpitiya connected with history & legend now famous for whale and dolphin watching. Emerging beach resort, the land skirted by the sea on one side and lagoon on the other. Fourteen unspoiled islands basking in the sun, rimmed by blue waters of the Indian ocean. Overnight at Kalpitiya.

    Day11:Leave for Negombo, visit fishing village Negombo & Dutch Cannel boat ride

    Day12:Leisure at the hotel or Visit Negombo & Colombo
